Meet the Founder

I’m Muhammed Melen, and textile has always been a part of my life. Growing up in Istanbul, I was surrounded by fabrics, raw materials, and the energy of an industry that my family has been deeply involved in since the 1990s. Our family business has been supplying raw cotton, cloth, and threads for large-scale international production, shaping the global textile industry. But for me, textile wasn’t just about materials, it was about what people actually wear and use in their daily lives.

At 17, just before moving to the Czech Republic to study Business Administration at Prague University of Economics And Business (VŠE), I started designing hoodies and selling them online. Unlike raw textiles, apparel felt real, wearable, and directly connected to people’s identities. Clothing became my passion because it was an industry that blended creativity, culture, and business. However, as I built my own brands, I learned that production is one of the biggest challenges for independent brands.

I struggled with the technical aspects of manufacturing, made mistakes, and faced roadblocks finding reliable suppliers. And these experiences helped me understand the common pain points for small brands and businesses. That’s why I founded Pale Part Studios, a European company based in the Czech Republic, manufacturing in Istanbul, Turkey, that truly understands what it takes to bring a brand’s vision to life.
